Despite what it shows, unofficial trails continue past the trail end. We had a hard time figuring out exactly where the official trail ended. We both think we went past it, due to the scrambling we encountered before we turned around.
When we start, the temp is below freezing. This is the iron hand rail on the bridge.
Notice how clear the water is here.
