| Hiking notes: Even though we stayed on trail, we ended up with ticks. The trail was well marked. The only negative was that part of it was also a horse trail. |
| Park comments: The road to the parking lot where the Hiking Club Trail starts is closed during the winter. This parks seems to get a lot of ticks. When we did the avain challenge here, one of us got a tick just standing in the parking lot looking at a sign. |
